Design Inspiration · Tòu Jīn Yǔ (頭巾嶼), Penghu

This design is inspired by Tòu Jīn Yǔ, a hidden marine conservation islet in the Penghu archipelago.

On this uninhabited island, even the smallest pothole landscapes nurture their own miniature ecosystems of plankton, flora, and fauna. Expanded to the vast ocean, they connect into a larger symbiotic system, revealing the rare treasures gifted by nature.

Through the aerial photography of artists and the creative vision of designers, this breathtaking scenery has been reinterpreted into a visual narrative. It seeks to remind us of the preciousness of marine conservation landscapes, while awakening awareness to reduce human impact on fragile ecosystems.

Care & Maintenance

First Use: Rinse separately with clean water, or machine-wash on a gentle cycle (in a laundry bag), then air-dry before use.
Washing & Drying: Hand-wash under 40°C or machine-wash separately on gentle in a laundry bag.
Do not use detergent or fabric softener—rinse with clean water only and avoid washing with other garments.
Do not tumble-dry. Air-dry indoors in a well-ventilated, shaded area. Keep out of direct sunlight and away from heat sources to extend the textile’s lifespan.
Soaking: Avoid prolonged soaking to protect the anti-slip coating.
Color & Ink Note: Printed with water-based eco inks and tested to ISO color-fastness standards. However, wear and environmental factors (temperature/humidity) may cause gradual fading or color transfer. Avoid use on white or light-colored yoga mats and avoid pairing with all-white apparel to prevent staining. Please consider this before purchasing.
